When a player signs a letter of intent to play baseball on the collegiate level, he not only demonstrates his desire to play for a school, but also he reveals his aspiration to play for the coach. And though he may have bled the school colors since childhood, he attends the school with faith that the coach will lead him down the path of success on the baseball diamond.
