Henry Clay began Columbia Metropolitan magazine with his wife, Emily Clay, in the fall of 1989 with the first issue premiering in 1990. Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Henry graduated from Washington & Lee University. Henry has three daughters and enjoys spending time with his family outside of work.

Emily Tinch

Emily Tinch has been working with Columbia Metropolitan magazine since 1996 and has been editor since 2000. Growing up in Columbia, she attended Heathwood Hall and later graduated from the University of the South with a B.S. in Psychology. Emily is married to another Columbia native, Kevin, and they have two young girls who keep them very busy in their free time.

Robyn Culbertson

Robyn Culbertson, a South Carolina native, graduated from the College of Charleston with a bachelor of arts in media communications and received a master of mass communication from the University of South Carolina. Robyn has been with Columbia Metropolitan since 1998 and has performed just about every job at the magazine at one time or another. Robyn lives in Columbia with her husband, Norm, in a house they'll be remodeling for the rest of their lives. They have a menagerie of pets, and when she's not cleaning dog hair from the sofa, Robyn likes to swim, bike and run.

Lindsay Niedringhaus

Lindsay Niedringhaus began working at Columbia Metropolitan as an intern in 2006. After graduating from Furman University with a bachelor of arts in English and a concentration in Visual Arts, Lindsay began working as assistant editor in June of 2007. Lindsay lives with her husband, Steven, and their two pups Molly and Sawyer. Lindsay loves cookie dough, campfires, sour Skittles and basically any animal with fur. In her free time she enjoys reading, hiking and going shoe shopping.

Dennis Craighead

Dennis Craighead has been creating the page layouts for Columbia Metropolitan since 2002. His company, Dennis Craighead Design, has a long history of designing business-to-business communications and print publications.

Shawn Coward
Advertising Executive

Shawn Coward has been selling advertising for Columbia Metropolitan since August of 1995. She was born and raised in Columbia and graduated from Boston University. She has loved working at the magazine and says Columbia is a great town! She loves her advertisers and the support they have given the magazine over the years.

Denise Luka
Advertising Executive

Denise Luka has been working for Columbia Metropolitan since 2006, originally as office manager, moving to a sales associate position in 2008. Born in North Carolina, Denise has also had the opportunity to live in Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. In addition to graduating from Central Piedmont Community College in the Medical Assisting program, she has a wide range of experience, including non-profit organization volunteer work, financial/investment office work, medical office work and sales. She has two wonderful sons and enjoys training at the gym when she cannot be outside running, cycling or hiking.
